Cape Coral and the surrounding area boasts pristine waterways which support healthy fisheries and many wildlife species, including water birds and other aquatic life. With abundant game and trophy fish, Cape Coral and Southwest Florida is an angler’s dream – a regional magnet for anyone who loves fishing.

Cape Coral fishing charters are a must for anyone visiting or living nearby who wants to take advantage of the area’s beautiful waters. Cape Coral is a very popular destination for fishing charters, bird watching and nature tours. Matlacha Pass Aquatic Preserve, Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge and Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve are just some of the nearby natural areas which attract large numbers of visitors each year.

Cape Coral could almost be considered America’s answer to Venice! The city is built on a vast network of man-made canals, some of which access the Gulf of Mexico. All up, Cape Coral has 378 miles of canals (156 saltwater, 222 freshwater), and 31 miles of beachfront. That’s a total 409 miles of waterways packed into 116 square miles! It’s also bounded on 3 sides by water: Matlacha Pass forms the western boundary, and the Caloosahatchee River forms the eastern and southern boundaries.

Blue Line Fishing Charters Cape Coral – The Best Fishing Trips In Southwest Florida

Blue Line Fishing Charters are specialists in inshore and offshore fishing trips. Typically, inshore fishing trips stay within the intracoastal waterway (e.g. Pine Island Sound, Matlacha Pass, Caloosahatchee River) while offshore fishing trips venture into the Gulf of Mexico. A Cape Coral fishing charter may consist of fishing trips throughout the interior waterways, along the beautiful shoreline, or out into the Gulf of Mexico (up to nine miles offshore), depending on target species, season, and/or weather conditions.

Leading your Cape Coral fishing charter will be Captain Keith Edinger. Captain Keith is a Florida native and second generation Southwest Floridian full time fishing guide. He has an intimate knowledge of Cape Coral and its prime fishing spots, having played and fished the local waterways from childhood.

He’s also a Sabalo Boats Pro Guide and holds his Coast Guard’s Captain License. Therefore, you’ll be in excellent hands with Captain Keith at the helm when you book your fishing charter in Cape Coral.

Blue Line Fishing Charters and Captain Keith are specialists in snook, redfish, trout, snapper and tarpon fishing. Capt Keith happily accommodates any skill set from avid angler to beginner, and kids are always welcome.

We use a 2019 24′ Rogue bay boat, which is ideal for maneuvering the inshore and near shore waters of Lee County, Florida. The boat was custom built to Capt Keith’s exact specifications. It’s been fully customized with your comfort and safety in mind whilst not sacrificing the functionality needed for a successful fishing trip.

The tackle station is equipped with all the fishing gear you’ll need, organized so you can access it right when you need it. All we recommend you bring with you is a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, towels and snacks. We take care of your Florida fishing license, and we’ll provide drinks (water, soda) as well.
